About Bee vs Flying Saucers
Bees have appeared in games usually as some kind of hostile that is rightfully angry when you get too close to the hive. In this game, the bee is the hero and the defender of the Earth aaginst space invaders. The challenge comes from trying to guide the bee's flight path so that it doesn't crash into any dangerous plants. Of course, it also needs to evade the UFOs while attempting to counterattack and get them back into space. You may just be one bee, but this is why you need to make this one run count the most and bee the best.
How to Play
Bee vs Flying Saucers is a 2D endless runner shooting game about a bee fighting against UFOs using the mouse or keyboard. The bee will automatically fly from left to right, but you are controlling it's altitude. By tapping the Left Mouse Button or the spacebar, the bee will ascend slightly before dipping down again. The goal is to help the bee last as long as possible while taking down as many UFOs as it can. If it crashes or falls to the bottom of the screen (or flies too high), you'll need to start again.
You can jump in right from the start and the bee will begin flying. As it flies, the bee will need to navigate through the gaps in thorny vines that can appear high or low. Whenever the bee ascends, it will fire a pollen projectile in a straight line. These can be used to destory the UFOs that appear at different elevations and will bob up and down. They can be destroyed or completely avoided if you so choose. There are also flowers to collect for additional points. Whenever you crash, your score based on distance, firing, and flowers will be calculated.
Tips and Tricks
In this game, you're going for a personal best so you should just take your time with it. The hitboxes and rhythm can be tricky to master and you may get frustrated, but if that happens, simply step away for a bit. Focus on distance rather than shooting and collecting.
