Traffic Jam 3D
Nobody likes being stuck in traffic; sometimes everything crawls so slowly that we struggle to keep ourselves occupied, but the situation can be a game like Traffic Jam 3D. However, the game is a misnomer as it implies that there will be lots of cars on the road that will prevent you from moving. There are indeed a lot of cars but there's plenty of room for you to drive and keep moving while building up speed. It's a dangerous game that you're playing out on the road, but it's better than sitting in traffic trapped among a sea of vehicles.
About Traffic Jam 3D
You'd think that hearing the word "traffic" would immediately make you dread or enraged about what's to come next, but this is gaming we're talking about. This is a game where traffic is not a trap but a challenge for you to overcome. Driving games can range all over the place regarding testing your abilities. It's not just about who's the fastest or who's the closest, but also about who's the most skillful. Going fast doesn't mean anything if you can't avoid the obstacles and other hazards you're bound to encounter on the road. Test yourself to be the best driver that never stays in one place for too long.
How to Play
Traffic Jam 3D is a 3D first-person driving game about trying to avoid traffic while building speed using the keyboard.
Controls
- Up Arrow - Accelerate
- Down Arrow - Decelerate
- Left Arrow - Turn Left
- Right Arrow - Turn Right
- N - Use Nitro
The goal is to last as long as you can on a busy road while driving quickly. There will be objectives to complete and achievements to earn for cash and coin rewards. This can be spent on the game menus to upgrade your owned cars, buy new cars, unlock new tracks, and new settings. No matter the mode, colliding with a car will end your streak.
When you start driving, you'll appear in a random spot on the road that can either be one-way or two-way. The car will always be moving forward at a base speed, but you can choose to accelerate as long as you press the button. You can also drive anywhere on the road while cars drive with or against you. There's the option to buy a tank of Nitro before you start driving for additional bursts of speed. The Nitro Gauge and the car's speed are tracked in the top right corner of the screen while the distance traveled is in the top left.
Tips and Tricks
This is a driving game based more on technique than speed. Going fast is a big part of it, but you need to be able to see a clear route by looking three to four cars ahead. If you can do that, you'll be able to weave between the lanes with little concern.
Traffic Jam 3D Game Modes
